Rebel premieres in Sweden
Finally the award winning feature film Rebel premieres in Sweden. Ala plays the role of Shams, a Kurdish YPJ commander in this epic war movie that had its world premiere at the Cannes film festival in 2022. Rebel is in Swedish cinemas from April 21.
Debut novel 'Krigets dotter' out in May
Krigets dotter, Kvinna Liv Frihet - a debut novel about war, flight and a people’s right for freedom, will be out in bookstores on May 5 all across Sweden, published by Natur & Kultur. The book receives a 5 out of 5 in a first review:
